The Edo Battousai stymied the Fushigi Yugi Celestial Warriors, 6-2, at Brown Bears Ballpark. Norberto Escamilla had a good day at the plate. He went 2-4 with 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice for Edo. Santiago Sandoval was the winner. He's now 8-3. The loser was 27-year old left-handed pitcher John Leckenby. Vicente Ramírez finished to wrap up his 9th save.

Escamilla made an early impact for Edo when he stroked his 28th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came in the top of the third, put the Battousai on top, 3-0.

"The harder you work," said Escamilla, "the luckier you get."

At 60-56, the Battousai find themselves in 4th place in the Trinity.
