Dunedin HS starter Teddy Albrecht kept the Sendai Ikuei HS offense in check, while his team cruised to a win, 11-0. Albrecht, now 2-3, was the winner. In 8.2 innings, he gave up 6 hits, while striking out 4, walking 2, and allowing no runs. The slumping Daimyo have lost 7 straight.

Alan Hodge had a big 2-run double for the Scots in the top of the second inning. With Dunedin HS leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 15-year old right-handed pitcher Natsume Jouon and swatted a double to center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Scots ahead, 3-0.

"I like winning," Albrecht told the Dunedin HS Bulletin. "I may joke around, but when it comes down to it, winning is the most important thing."
