De La Salle HS used a superb performance from starting pitcher Chester Barnes to down the Chatsworth HS Chancellors, 2-1, in 11 innings. Octávio García notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 2.2 innings. His record now sits at 2-0. De La Salle HS is now 8-4.

The climactic moment came in the bottom of the 11th for De La Salle HS. That's when Ramiro Garza, who leads the WL in home runs with 6, hit a solo home run off José Toro to win the game. The home crowd erupted in celebration.
