Decepticons Capture Close Win
The Santo Domingo Decepticons earned a close win over the Bridgetown Flying Fish, thanks in part to Imre Blòmel. The Santo Domingo left-hander played a key role in the 3-2 victory. The Decepticons bumped their record to 21-19 with this win.

The decisive blow was delivered by Jesús Marrero in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 19-year old right-handed pitcher Chris Davis to win the game for Santo Domingo. The home crowd went nuts.

"You've got to ride the highs and the lows in baseball in order to succeed," Blòmel told the Santo Domingo Daily News. "Right now I'm feeling good, but that don't mean squat for tomorrow."
