Bates Sparkles in 4-0 Shutout
Hank Bates dominated the Aruba Wahoos with a brilliant 3-hit shutout in the 4-0 Montserrat Mystique triumph at Soufriere Hills Park. The Montserrat hurler fanned 4 and walked 4 in the game and was singled out for praise afterward by the opposing manager.

"He really kept us in check today," Wahoos skipper Jason Sargent said in postgame comments. "Everything looked to be moving. Seemed like the pitch was right down the middle and it went over down and away. We took some pathetic swings."
