García Helps Privateers Beat Mamajuanas, 3-2
Riding the 2-hit performance of the 20-year old third baseman Norberto García, the Port Royal Privateers defeated the Punta Cana Mamajuanas, 3-2. Guillaume Oger closed it out for his 4th save. The Mamajuanas fall to 8-10 and continue their sputtering start to the 2042 season.

García had a timely hit for Port Royal in the top of the seventh. With Port Royal trailing 2-1, he turned a first pitch fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season, making it 3-2, Port Royal.

"You have to win 1-0, 3-2, 2-1 games if you want to get to where you want to go," said Privateers manager Juan Castro.
