Soldato Make It 4 Straight with 4-3 Win

The Djibouti Soldato took Khartoum pitcher José Liñares's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Djibouti Park. The final score had Djibouti getting past the Raiders, 4-3. Liñares went 5.2 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 4. Djibouti reliever Alfonso Soto got the win, raising his record to 2-1. Pepe García was tagged with the loss. The second-place Soldato have won 4 in a row.
The Soldato got a big at-bat from catcher Arnold Clemons. For the game, Clemons was 1-3 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the sixth, with runners on 1st and 3rd, he stroked a 3-run home run. His 10th home run of the season gave Djibouti a 3-2 lead.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said Khartoum manager Mito Nii, "let me know."
