Narcida Shines in 9-5 Addis Ababa Win
|
The Addis Ababa Rifters powered past the Port Sudan Tycoons, 9-5, at The Rift. Rizal Narcida provided some of the pop. He was 2 for 3 with a home run, a double, and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 3. Addis Ababa reliever José López picked up the win, raising his record to 6-1. José Jiménez was tagged with the loss. At 24-27, the Rifters are currently 6th in the Intercontinental Baseball Coalition Red Sea League.
Martín Franco contributed to the Addis Ababa win with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the sixth. For the game, the second baseman had 2 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 1 single, 1 run scored, and 2 RBI.
