|
Djibouti Soldato starter Kiefer Buser hurled his team past the Khartoum Raiders, 6-2. In 7 innings, Buser surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 4. He allowed 2 runs. Djibouti's record now stands at 30-15, placing them first in the Intercontinental Baseball Coalition Red Sea League.
Djibouti went up, 6-2, on Dong-po Lei's 6th triple of the season. The bases-clearing triple, which Lei hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Khartoum pitcher Arturo Radríguez shaking his head.
"I thought we played a nice game," Lei told the Djibouti Today. "Good pitching, timely hitting, it was all there."
