The Rift was the site for Intercontinental Baseball Coalition action featuring the Kabsabet Duba and Addis Ababa Rifters.

The Addis Ababa Rifters easily defeated the Kabsabet Duba, 12-4, at The Rift, with shortstop Martino Salinas a main contributor to the win. He was 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for Addis Ababa. At 19-18, the Rifters find themselves in 5th place in the Intercontinental Baseball Coalition Red Sea League.

Rizal Narcida, who is tied for 8th in the IBC with a .600 slugging percentage, came through for Addis Ababa with a 3-run home run in the bottom of the second. The right fielder was a perfect 3 for 3 in the game, including 1 home run and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs and collected 3 RBI.
