Raiders Topple Rifters with Late Rally

Haboob Field was the site for Intercontinental Baseball Coalition action featuring the Addis Ababa Rifters and Khartoum Raiders.
The Khartoum Raiders picked up a win at Haboob Field, knocking off the Addis Ababa Rifters, 5-3. On the mound for Khartoum was right-hander Adrián Solís. He played a key role in the triumph. Khartoum goes to 21-15, Addis Ababa to 18-18.
Félix Arredondo drew 1 walk for Khartoum. The 20-year old left fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the eighth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 3-3 tie with a run-scoring walk off Soshu Terada. It was his 3rd walk of the season.
Arredondo called the win "a collective effort."
