Rifters Pin 2-1 Loss on Port Sudan

Plano Grounds hosted a real pitchers' duel.
The Port Sudan Tycoons went down to defeat to Esteban López and his Addis Ababa teammates. The final score was 2-1, in favor of the Rifters. López, now 3-1, was the winner. In 5.1 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 6, walking 5, and allowing no runs.
Addis Ababa relied on the bat of Rizal Narcida to get the win. The right fielder ripped a run-scoring triple in the top of the sixth inning to put the Rifters ahead, 2-0. For the game, Narcida had 1 double and 1 triple in 3 at-bats.
"It wasn't easy, but we got it done," said Narcida.
Addis Ababa now sports a record of 15-14.
