Ghosts Win 5-3 Nail-Biter Versus Dinosaurs
The Niihama-shi Ghosts picked up a win at Oikake Maze, dropping the Fargo Dinosaurs, 5-3, in 10 innings. Dave López, who is tied for 10th in the SL with a 1.05 WHIP, was the difference-maker. Reliever Gary Terry picked up the win. His record improves to 2-1. Norm Batstone, who is a two-time All-Star, took the loss. After today's action, Niihama-shi sits at 55-40, while Fargo falls to 42-53.

The decisive blow was delivered by Pablo Garza in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a 2-run home run off 34-year old right-handed pitcher Norm Batstone to win the game for Niihama-shi. The home crowd went nuts.

"Tough ballgame, tough loss," said Fargo manager Cristóbal Gabriel.
