Raikov Leads Wagga Wagga to 2-0 Win
|
Wagga Wagga pitcher Roman Raikov did his part in helping his team beat the Auckland Aces BC, 2-0. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. David Carlos earned his 16th save, after closing out the game. Wagga Wagga, at 28-23, occupies second place in the Intercontinental Baseball Coalition Tasman League.
Raikov allowed no runs on 4 hits over 7.1 innings for the Crows. He walked 1 and struck out 6.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Raikov.
