Helton Shines in 7-5 Melbourne Win
Getting a good performance from designated hitter Dan Helton, the Melbourne Bitters defeated the Sunshine Coast Crocodile Hunters, 7-5. Helton hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Bitters. Alejandro García, the winner, goes to 2-1. He allowed 1 run on 3 hits, with 3 walks and 2 strikeouts over 6 innings.
