It was pandemonium at Steve Irwin Stadium after an exciting walk-off win.

Auckland wasted a solid 7-inning effort from starting pitcher Millard Washington, losing to Sunshine Coast, 2-1, at Steve Irwin Stadium. The Crocodile Hunters raised their record to 16-29.

The decisive blow was delivered by Paul Larkin in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 17-year old right-handed pitcher Ju-long Kong to win the game for Sunshine Coast. The home crowd went nuts.

Larkin called it "a solid win."
