Bitters Suffer 4-2 Loss to Crows

The Wagga Wagga Crows picked up a win at Tetsunori Koike Field, downing the Melbourne Bitters, 4-2. On the mound for Wagga Wagga was left-hander Josh Sterne, who played a pivotal role in the win. The win belonged to Ruy Tarujo in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Ergot Kehler took the loss for Melbourne. The first-place Crows improved to 21-11.
Tony Dyer cracked a home run off Ergot Kehler in the bottom of the seventh. His 3-run blast put the Crows on top, 4-2. In all, Dyer had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
"I like our moxie," said Crows manager Ronnie Russell.
