In a low-scoring affair between Tauranga Taniwha and the Hobart Devils, pitcher António Vázquez was the difference-maker. The Tauranga left-hander handcuffed the opposition, to help his team pocket a 2-1 win. Tauranga now sports a record of 16-15.
