Vázquez Sensational for Taniwha
António Vázquez put on a pitching clinic, while helping the Tauranga Taniwha beat the Sunshine Coast Crocodile Hunters, 2-0. Luis Cantú was credited with the save for Tauranga, his 7th of the season. The win for the Taniwha lifted their record to 11-10.

Vázquez gave Tauranga an exquisite performance. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 8.2 innings.

"António was aggressive right out of the chute," said Tauranga manager Christian Butler.
