The Hobart Devils beat the Brisbane Stevedores, 3-2. Hobart pitcher and Cheju, South Korea, native Woo-jong Kun led the way. The winner was Kun. He threw 6.0 innings of 3-hit ball. The loser was Sumitomo Nakamura. Getting the save was Ed Adamic, his 4th.
Joel Franklin aided the Hobart cause with a run-scoring ground out in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, the designated hitter went 1-3.
