Peterson Leads Charge, Auckland Blasts Crows
Led by Charles Peterson, the Auckland Aces BC defeated the Wagga Wagga Crows, 18-3. Peterson, a native of Athens-Clarke County, Georgia, was 3 for 6 with 2 home runs, while scoring 3 and driving in 6 for the Aces BC. Auckland pitcher Vicente Morín got the win. He's now 1-0. Josh Sterne was tagged with the loss. Auckland, now 6-2, is playing great baseball to start the year.

Robert Robinson had a big grand slam home run for the Aces BC in the bottom of the first inning. With Auckland leading 1-0 and the bases loaded, he got a fastball from Josh Sterne and swatted a home run to center. It was his 2nd home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Aces BC ahead, 5-0.

"I believe in our guys," said Auckland skipper Marcus Stuart. "I like the energy they're playing with."
