Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the Daegu Dragons and Gohueng Gom.

The Daegu Dragons downed the Gohueng Gom, 3-0, at Daegu Ballpark. Daegu pitcher Brian Wood definitely brought his A-game. Mark Miller was called on to finish, recording his 17th save.

Costodio Boa had a big 2-run home run for the Dragons in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Daegu leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a fastball from 18-year old left-handed pitcher Raúl Hernández and punished it. The result was his 13th home run of the season, which put the Dragons on top, 3-0.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Daegu manager Ed Rush. "It's usually not just one thing."

The Dragons sit in last place in the Intercontinental Baseball Coalition Hanguk League with a record of 28-46.
