Dragons first baseman Vicente Castaneda left his mark on his team's 8-5 win over the Gohueng Gom. Castaneda went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs for Daegu in the contest. The winner in relief was You-liang Zhu. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2.2 innings. He now owns a record of 1-5. The losing streak for Gohueng has now reached 6 games.

Chung Quian drove in one run for Daegu. The 20-year old third baseman had a key at-bat in the top of the sixth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 5-5 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Eduardo León. It was his 10th RBI of the season.
