Dragons Rally to Win
The Daegu Dragons, despite a fine performance by Sejong pitcher Juan Gonzáles, grabbed a 2-1 win at Ballpark of Sejong. Gonzáles allowed 1 run over 7.2 innings. Daegu reliever Gaetano Castellucio picked up the win to move to 2-0. Alex Cole suffered the loss. At 17-31, Daegu is in last place in the Intercontinental Baseball Coalition Hanguk League.

Daegu needed the clutch hitting of Costodio Boa to seal the deal. The second baseman swatted a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Dragons on top, 2-1. For the game, Boa had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"The old adage is true," said Boa. "Good pitching stops good hitting."
