Kim Delivers Walk-Off Win for Gorillas
|
The Daegu Dragons got a superb performance from pitcher Brian Wood. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Gimpo. The Gorillas won the game, 2-1. Wood threw 6.1 innings of 1-hit ball. Tim Small came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 4.2 innings. His record now stands at 1-1. The slumping Dragons have lost 6 straight.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the tenth, an error by the Dragons allowed the Gorillas to score the winning run.
Said Daegu manager Ed Rush: "You just have to tip your cap sometimes."
