The Hsinchu HS Shock got a superb performance from pitcher Wei-qian Zhou, but the Port Lincoln HS Trawlers still won the game, 7-2. Zhou threw 5.2 innings of shutout ball. The win was credited to 17-year old right-handed pitcher Byron Robilliard in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Greg Gerlach took the loss. Port Lincoln HS is 5th in the Pacific Conference Oceanic Division with a record of 13-17.
Port Lincoln HS used the timely hitting of Mark Milley to capture the win. The second baseman stroked a 2-run double in the top of the seventh inning to put the Trawlers on top, 3-0. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but he made it count.
Milley told a Port Lincoln HS Times reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
