In a tight contest at Ballpark of Oswego, the Lodi HS Devils edged the Oswego HS Lynx by the score of 4-3. Lodi HS third baseman Chris Gilmore, who blasted 2 home runs, was a key contributor. The win belonged to Matt Sanders in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Anderson Hamilton took the loss for Oswego HS. Matt Cooper recorded the save for Lodi HS, his 1st of the season.

Kevin Gary had a direct impact on the outcome. Gary contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fifth inning to put Lodi HS up, 4-0.
