The Daegu Dragons knocked off the Suwon Morning Swords, 11-7, at Hwaseong Fortress Stadium. Ricky Curry was a big reason Daegu won. The left fielder was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Brian Wood earned the win to go to 3-1. He allowed 6 runs on 8 hits, with 1 walk and 5 strikeouts in 6 innings of work. The Dragons raised their record to 13-16.

Tom Elliott, who is tied for 3rd in the IBC in doubles with 9, helped out the Daegu cause in the top of the sixth inning with a run-scoring walk. For the game, the center fielder went 2-4 with a double and a walk.
