Gorillas Need Extra Innings to Top Whales, 4-3
Gorillas fans were treated to an exciting walk-off win.

The Gimpo Gorillas picked up a win at The Cage, downing the Busan Whales, 4-3, in 10 innings. On the mound for Gimpo was right-hander Graeme Underhay, who played a pivotal role in the win. Reliever José Polanco picked up the win. His record improves to 1-2. William Montoya took the loss.

The game-ending blow was delivered by Félix Ortíz in the bottom of the tenth. That's when he hit a solo home run off 19-year old right-handed pitcher William Montoya to win it for Gimpo and cause the home crowd to erupt in celebration.

"A lot to like, just frustrated that we came up short," said Busan manager Jared Craig.

The Gorillas are now 12-13.
