The Scottish Claymores received a superlative performance from starting pitcher Kenny Boone, allowing them to bump off the London Underground, 5-1. With the win, Scottish pushed its record to 94-60.

The Claymores got a big at-bat from second baseman Eric Nelson. For the game, Nelson went 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 22nd home run of the season gave Scottish a 2-0 lead.

In comments to the Scottish Observer, Nelson insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
