Grizzlies Fall Short, 2-1, at Chatsworth HS
Rocky Mountain HS wasted a solid 6-inning effort from starting pitcher Mike Frost, losing to Chatsworth HS, 2-1, at Ballpark of Chatsworth HS. Guy Ayers earned the save for Chatsworth HS, his 1st of the year. The win puts Chatsworth HS at 2-1.

The Grizzlies had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Chancellors going into the bottom of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 17-year old shortstop Franklin Blair came to the plate. Blair hit a solo home run on a 1-1 cutter from Rocky Mountain HS hurler Mike Frost. It was Blair's 1st home run of the year.

Blair told reporters after the game: "Runs were scarce, so we had to work hard to get the W."
