Eager fans turned out for a matchup between the London Underground and Kentucky Thoroughbreds.

Boosted by the 2-hit performance of Eduardo Franco, who won the Wunderkind Award in 2041, the London Underground defeated the Kentucky Thoroughbreds, 8-2. The winning pitcher was 27-year old right-handed pitcher José Hernández. He tossed 108 pitches over 6.2 innings, allowing 2 runs on 6 hits. Cecil Langley closed the game out for London, earning his 9th save.

Early in the game, left fielder Zak Osmond had a 2-run home run for London. It was his 9th home run of the season and put the Underground on top, 3-1.
