Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Steel Dragons beat the Celestial Warriors.

The Kuwana Steel Dragons topped the Fushigi Yugi Celestial Warriors, 9-3, in Trinity action at Steelfire Stadium. The standout performance belonged to Kuwana pitcher and Parma, Idaho, native Ernest Middleton. Kuwana's record now stands at 50-38, placing them first in the Trinity.

Garry Charron had a big 2-run triple for the Steel Dragons in the bottom of the third inning. With Kuwana leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 27-year old right-handed pitcher Rubén Águila and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 3rd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Steel Dragons ahead, 4-0.

"A great game, a great day," said Charron about the win. "I can't complain."
