Charron Hits 2 Roundtrippers, Steel Dragons Win, 5-1

Soggy conditions did not keep Kuwana and Edo from playing their scheduled game.
Getting a good performance from first baseman Garry Charron, the Kuwana Steel Dragons defeated the Edo Battousai, 5-1. Charron hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice for the Steel Dragons. Picking up the win was Gerard Scott. He went 6.2 innings, allowing 1 run on 6 hits. The right--hander struck out 6 and walked 4. Earning his 1st save for Kuwana was Evan van der Kamp.
Charron contributed in the bottom of the third. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he grounded out, driving in 1 run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Kuwana get the win.
"Anything I can do to help the team win," said Charron.
The winning streak has now reached 5 games for Kuwana.
