Light Blues Rally to Win
A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Cambridge Light Blues and Windsor Canada Goths.

The Windsor Canada Goths got a superb performance from pitcher Scott Yang, but the Cambridge Light Blues still won the game, 4-0. Yang threw 7.1 innings of shutout ball. The winner was Stuart Davies in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Colin Pinnock took the loss.

Darren Paynter provided a timely hit. The Cambridge pinch hitter delivered a bases-clearing triple in the top of the ninth inning to put the Light Blues on top, 3-0. It was his only hit in the game, but he made it count.

Cambridge manager Scott Simpson called it "a darn good win."

Cambridge is first in the Atlantic League Europe Division with a record of 15-8.
