Fading Fishermen Lose 6th Straight

The Havana Leones and Gloucester Fishermen obliged fans hoping for an exciting game.
The Havana Leones handed the Gloucester Fishermen a 5-4 defeat at Campos Peloteros. Right Fielder Kolomon Amsel starred for Havana. He went 2 for 3 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Pablo Salinas snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Halmar Reus suffered the loss.
The game was all tied up in the bottom of the eighth, until Amsel delivered big-time for Havana, stroking a dramatic run-scoring single off Halmar Reus. The game-changing hit put the Leones on top, 4-3.
"We're feeling good in this clubhouse right now after that one," Amsel told the Havana Times.
The Fishermen, 3-7, continue their poor start to the 2042 campaign.
