Battousai Best Jade Tigers, 2-0
|
In a low-scoring game between Edo and Gwangju, pitcher Scott Tilton was excellent. The Edo right-hander helped his team knock off the Jade Tigers, 2-0. Edo, at 29-16, sits in first place in the Trinity.
The Battousai got a big at-bat from right fielder Randall Perry. For the game, Perry was 1 for 4 with a triple. In the bottom of the third, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 2nd triple of the season gave Edo a 1-0 lead.
"I tried to mix it up, keep them off balance," said Tilton.
