7-6 Win for Kuwana in Extras
|
Wet weather did not postpone the Kuwana-Taipei ballgame.
The Kuwana Steel Dragons wiggled past the Taipei Wardens, 7-6, at Steelfire Stadium. The win was highlighted by the performance of Kuwana pitcher Gregory Bradley. Kuwana reliever Gregory Bradley, who finished 4th in the TRI in saves with 34 in 2035, was credited with the win. His record goes to 1-0. Van Frazier took the loss for Taipei.
The decisive blow was delivered by Jaques Breyner in the bottom of the 18th when he hit a run-scoring double off former first round draft pick Van Frazier to win the game for Kuwana. The home crowd went nuts.
"I like how we battled to the end," said Bradley.
Kuwana now has a record of 25-16 with the win.
