The Edmonton Mall Ratz beat the Lodoss Spell Swords, 5-4, in part because of second baseman Charles Ramos. He went 3 for 3 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs. Parker Wagner went 8 innings for Edmonton to pick up the win. The left-hander was charged with 4 runs. He scattered 11 hits, while walking 0 and striking out 5. His record improves to 4-1. The first-place Mall Ratz improved to 51-44.

The Mall Ratz got a big hit from left fielder Michael Rasmussen. Facing Lodoss pitcher Kosaku Ojima in the bottom of the fifth, Rasmussen pounded a run-scoring double to center. His 8th double of the season put the Mall Ratz ahead, 5-0.

"We found a way to get it done," Ramos said.
