The Brampton Camels had to overcome a big game from Kumamoto designated hitter Pierre George to leave Ballpark of Brampton with a victory. And they did, winning, 9-5. George slugged 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Shuji Yamamoto earned his 1st save, after closing out the game. The Camels, at 54-39, have now won 4 straight.

Bobby Leach had a big solo home run for the Camels in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Brampton leading 5-4 and the bases empty, he got a slider from 25-year old left-handed pitcher Jesús Trujillo and swatted a home run to left. It was his 6th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Camels ahead, 6-4.

"The boys came out and just played their butts off," said Brampton manager Pepe Espinosa.
