Led by Victor Brown, the Toronto Phantoms downed the Sherwood Park Hoods, 9-6. Brown went 2-4 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2 for the Phantoms. Jesús Luna was the winner. He's now 3-0. The loser was 23-year old right-handed pitcher Miguel Alvarado. With the win, the Phantoms improved to 45-46.

Millard Martin had a big 2-run home run for the Phantoms in the bottom of the third inning. With Toronto leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a curveball from Miguel Alvarado and swatted a home run to left. It was his 12th home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Phantoms ahead, 4-0.

"I felt good up there," said Brown. "I saw the ball well."
