A nice crowd turned out for a clash between the Medicine Hat Drillers and Lodoss Spell Swords.

The Medicine Hat Drillers got a good effort from starter Luther González in defeating the Lodoss Spell Swords at Forcelia Field. The final score was 4-2. With the win over Lodoss, the Drillers improved to 29-53.

Left Fielder Miguel Méndez made an impact for Medicine Hat, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Perry Wichers in the top of the fifth. For the contest, Méndez went 1 for 5 with a double.

"Nothing fazes Luther," said Medicine Hat manager Michael Burton.
