Talboom Powers Spell Swords to 13-11 Win
The Lodoss Spell Swords outscored the Medicine Hat Drillers, 13-11. Among the hitting stars was left fielder Peer Talboom. Talboom, who is tied for 3rd in the PCAL in hits with 87, went 4 for 5 with 3 doubles and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. The winner in relief was José Arroyo. Lodoss took the lead, 12-11, on Hogai Okada's 11th home run of the season. The 3-run home run came off Medicine Hat pitcher Kumanosuke Yamada in the bottom of the seventh.
