Pak, Stampede Notch Nifty 3-1 Win Over Gatineau
|
Calgary Stampede pitcher Jung-sik Pak was in fine form, leading his team past the Gatineau Balloonists, 3-1. Juan Martínez finished to wrap up his 10th save. The Stampede win now puts them at 35-43.
It was an impressive turn from the legendarily hard-working Pak, who tallied 7 strikeouts in 8 innings while allowing just 3 hits. Pak, who is tied for 3rd in the PCAL in wins with 9, goes to 9-5 on the year with 68 strikeouts.
"Jung-sik was throwing free and easy," said Calgary manager Errol Grey.
