Hoods Get Close Win Over Spell Swords, 2-1
The Sherwood Park Hoods picked up a win at Hoods Ballpark, knocking off the Lodoss Spell Swords, 2-1. Starting pitcher Tom MacEwen was a big reason why. Brenton Walker snagged the win in relief. He goes to 1-0 on the season. Rodrigo Castro suffered the loss. The Hoods go to 29-51, putting them 4th in the Pacific Alliance Wild Rose.

Phil Baker was the walk-off hero for Sherwood Park. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Hoods third baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

Sherwood Park manager Takanobu Rin called it "a good, solid win."
