Buccaneers Squeeze By Moody HS, 2-1

The Barbe HS Buccaneers eked out a 2-1 win versus the Moody HS Trojans at Trojans Ballpark. Nobody did more than pitcher Gerald MacPherson. He was terrific. Dan Harris closed it out for Barbe HS, earning his 7th save. With the win, the Buccaneers are 16-32.
Fletcher Jackson delivered a big hit for Barbe HS. The designated hitter drilled a solo home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Buccaneers ahead, 2-1. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.
"I was trying to do what I do, go out there and compete," said MacPherson.
