Buccaneers Fall, 8-0, to Saunders, Trojans
|
Brian Saunders helped his team muscle past the Barbe HS Buccaneers, 8-0. In the game, the Moody HS designated hitter went 3 for 5 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. With the win over Barbe HS, the Trojans improved to 26-21.
Moody HS got a lift in the bottom of the second from center fielder Larry Williams, who hit a changeup to left for a 2-run double. His 9th double of the season put the Trojans up, 2-0.
Said losing manager Kevin Moore: "The list goes on and on of things we just flat out didn't do."
