The Niihama-shi Ghosts had no problem beating the Okinawa Shisa, 18-2, at Oikake Maze. Dave Wilson led the onslaught. He went 3 for 5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for Niihama-shi. With the win, Niihama-shi raised its record to 48-33.

The Ghosts got a big hit from center fielder Carlos Martínez. Facing Okinawa pitcher Álex Lodeiro in the bottom of the sixth, Martínez pounded a 3-run home run to left. His 1st home run of the season put the Ghosts ahead, 14-0.

Of the opposition, Okinawa manager Yoriyoshi Tanaka said: "They hit fastballs, they hit breaking balls, they hit inside fastballs, they hit outside fastballs."
