Infantrymen 6-2 Winners Versus DeSoto Central HS
Benedictine Prep HS parlayed a decent outing from starter Don Rivera into a solid win over the DeSoto Central HS Panthers. The final score was 6-2. Christian Mayer earned the save for Benedictine Prep HS, his 19th of the year. The Infantrymen now own a record of 26-19.

Marcos Flores had a big 2-run home run for the Infantrymen in the bottom of the second inning. With Benedictine Prep HS leading 2-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from 17-year old right-handed pitcher Bill Bouverie and swatted a home run to right-center. It was his 1st home run of the season, and more importantly, it put the Infantrymen ahead, 4-0.
