Ninja Slip Past Eijisu Masters, 6-5

Fans were not deterred by the threat of rain. They came to see their hometown Osaka Toin HS Eijisu Masters take on the Kisarazu Sogo HS Ninja.
The Kisarazu Sogo HS Ninja knocked off the Osaka Toin HS Eijisu Masters, 6-5, in Pacific Conference action at Osaka Toin Field. Kisarazu Sogo HS pitcher and Soka, Japan, native Hyosuke Miyazaki had an outstanding performance. Kisarazu Sogo HS reliever Naoki Seki picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Kichibei Abe was saddled with the loss. Getting the save was Yaichiro Otsuka, his 5th.
Kisarazu Sogo HS used the timely hitting of Mokichi Tsuchiya to seize the win. The catcher stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Ninja on top, 4-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"Hyosuke was bobbing and weaving the whole game," said Kisarazu Sogo HS manager Pedro Gonzáles.
The last-place Ninja now have a record of 10-13.
